Pics taken using a waterproof case (costs only P500) and my trusty Kodak DC3200 1-megapixel camera that is five years old. =) I got licensed as a PADI open water scuba diver during this impromptu trip to Puerto Galera, December 1-2, 2007. I wasn't able to photograph the 12-inch puffer fishes, lionfish, eel, parrotfish, giant clams and other sea creatures.
Shallowest depth: 10 meters and deepest dive: 18 meters. Total dive time to date: 2 hours and 55 minutes
Thanks tash. By the way, at a depth of 18 meters, the water pressure is so great that the waterproof case gets flattened and it appears as if my digicam is laminated underwater. =)
bibili pa naman sana ako ng P500 underwater casing. pero dahil diyan nega na muna. ei, how much did you spend to be licensed. yung reco kasi ni tash dati didn't work out. hehehe. kuripot kasi kami. hahahaha
OK yung P500 underwater casing especially if you just plan to snorkel. Hindi naman siya papasukan ng tubig as long as i-lock mo siya ng maayos. The scuba diving course (with manual) costs P12,500 while the checkout dive in puerto galera cost me P5000 for four dives.
